Hudson began his career as an exploration geologist with Amoco before moving into advanced research roles with Schlumberger, where he specialized in rock mechanics and hydraulic fracturing. He later led major R&D initiatives at BJ Services and co-developed early commercial 3D hydraulic fracturing simulation technology, contributing to advancements in modern completion practices. He went on to build and scale multiple oilfield service companies and joint ventures, securing and executing major contracts with Pemex and other international operators.
